A djinn can be channelled through a diagram.
Diagrammin Djiin is an experiment with matter and non-matter. Farvash builds an apparatus to test whether their physical body can become non-matter. The experiment plays with and researches matter and non-matter as conditions a body can move between.
A diagram is taped out across the walls and floor. Inside it, a masked figure wearing a green-screen bodysuit and Farvash's mother's prayer chador sits on a swing. The body becomes a pendulum, moving in and out of matter.
Can a body move from one material condition into another?
The performance is livestreamed. In the room, the figure remains a physical body. Through the camera, the body is translated into an RGB image and transmitted to the livestream.
If I swing fast enough, will my RGB fuse? Will I become non-matter?
The figure swings faster. On the livestream, the body begins to blur, lose its edges and disappear. The livestream is meant to transmit their presence, but instead it begins to capture their disappearance.
